Strayer (pp 734-739)
Feminism. Women have always been looked as some foreign creature in the world. Men believed they didn't deserve the same treatment as they did such as basic human rights. They were not able to vote, couldn't get jobs and if they were to get any type of job the pay would not be equivalent to men. In order to try and put a stop to this women began to start a revolution or any other words "woman feminist group". They began to form in the 19th century, they weren't violent accusations but they wanted support. For people that wanted that wanted to get married, funerals, child births anything, the feminist group was there to help them. This happened in the global south, Kenya. The most intrigued issue with the feminist group was" women's rights are human rights" (Strayer, pg736)
